Sidney is ten.

We’ve grown attached to her over the years.

I knew she was trouble from the beginning. She stopped growing for a while, something we found out during a routine ultrasound. This was pretty stressful, and watching that ultrasound still floors me after ten years.

She’s stubborn, man is she stubborn.  Britnie says it came straight from me, but [...]

Waking Sid up

For her first day of fifth grade.

I can’t believe she’s old enough for fifth grade.

Lagoon 2010

The Rocket

The more daring members of the family (basically the women) ride The Rocket at Lagoon.  I’ll put photos [...]

The Big Red ball in action

I forgot I had this movie when I posted the photos.  Sidney’s idea of fun was to roll down the hill inside,  Wyatt preferred climbing to the top from the inside, then letting it roll so it threw [...]

Sidney runs the 5k

Every year Sidney’s school has a 5k run to raise money. We do it every year, usually she and I run ahead of the family. Well, jog a little and walk a lot would be a better description. I usually suggest we run to the next mailbox or the next stop [...]
